Who is responsible<\/h2><p>The controller responsible for processing your personal data is:<\/p><p>DARRON GmbH<br>c\/o Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area AG<br>Hegenheimermattweg 167a<br>4123 Allschwil<br>Switzerland<br>Email: info@darron.ch<\/p><p>Write to this address with any question about your data or to exercise your rights. We are not required to appoint a data protection officer and have not done so.<\/p><h2>2. Visiting this website<\/h2><p>When you open a page, the web server automatically records technical information in log files:<\/p><ul><li>your IP address<\/li><li>the date and time of the request<\/li><li>the page or file requested and whether the request succeeded<\/li><li>the referring page, if your browser sends it<\/li><li>your browser type and operating system<\/li><\/ul><p><b>Purpose:<\/b> to deliver the website, keep it secure, and detect and fix faults and attacks. We do not combine this data with other data, use it to identify you, or analyse it for marketing.<\/p><p><b>Retention:<\/b> we do not access or store these log files ourselves. Our hosting provider keeps them for the operation and security of its servers. Write to info@darron.ch if you want to know the current retention period.<\/p><h2>3. Cookies, analytics and third-party content<\/h2><p>This website sets no cookies for visitors. It uses no analytics, tracking or advertising tools, no social media plugins and no embedded maps or videos. The fonts and images are stored on our own web server, so your browser does not contact Google or any other third party when you load a page.<\/p><p>The website is built with WordPress. WordPress sets technical cookies only for site administrators when they log in; these are never set for visitors.<\/p><p>Some pages link to other websites, such as Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area. When you follow such a link, the other website&#8217;s own privacy policy applies.<\/p><h2>4. Contacting us by email<\/h2><p>If you write to us, we process your name, email address, the content of your message and any details you choose to include.<\/p><p><b>Purpose:<\/b> to answer you and to handle any conversation, collaboration, funding application or business relationship that follows.<\/p><p><b>Retention:<\/b> we keep correspondence for as long as the conversation or relationship requires, and then delete it. Where an email serves as an accounting record, for example an order or an invoice, Swiss law requires us to keep it for ten years (Art. 958f of the Code of Obligations).<\/p><p>Please do not send us health or other sensitive personal data by email. Our products are in development and we cannot give medical advice.<\/p><h2>5. Who else handles your data<\/h2><p>Our website and email are hosted by Papaki (ENARTIA Single Member S.A., Greece). Papaki processes the data described above on our behalf, only to provide these services, under its data processing terms. Papaki states that it hosts its services in data centres in Europe.<\/p><p>We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing. We disclose personal data to authorities only where the law requires us to.<\/p><h2>6. Data outside Switzerland<\/h2><p>Our hosting and email servers are located in the European Union. Switzerland recognises the EU and EEA countries as providing an adequate level of data protection. Papaki&#8217;s data processing terms allow it to use sub-processors outside the EU\/EEA in some cases; any such transfer is covered by the European Commission&#8217;s Standard Contractual Clauses.<\/p><h2>7. Security<\/h2><p>This website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the website administration and to our mailbox is restricted to authorised people.<\/p><h2>8. Your rights<\/h2><p>Under the FADP you can, free of charge and within the limits of the law:<\/p><ul><li>ask whether we process your personal data and receive a copy of it (right of access)<\/li><li>have incorrect data corrected<\/li><li>have your data deleted, or object to its processing<\/li><li>receive data you gave us in a common electronic format (data portability)<\/li><\/ul><p>To exercise these rights, write to info@darron.ch. We may ask you to confirm your identity before answering. If you believe we have not handled your data lawfully, you can contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edoeb.admin.ch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.edoeb.admin.ch<\/a>.<\/p><h2>9. Visitors in the EU and EEA<\/h2><p>Where the GDPR applies to our processing of your data, we rely on these legal bases:<\/p><ul><li>server logs: our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)<\/li><li>emails: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, where your message concerns a possible contract or collaboration, steps taken at your request before entering into it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)<\/li><li>keeping emails that serve as accounting records: a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)<\/li><\/ul><p>You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection under Articles 15 to 21 GDPR. You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in the EU or EEA country where you live or work.<\/p><h2>10. No automated decisions<\/h2><p>We do not make decisions about you by automated means and we do not create profiles of visitors.<\/p><h2>11.
